W.A. NIBA Young Professional Broker of the Year Award for 2020 – Winner (Tryan Christos)
October 1, 2020
Each year NIBA celebrates the achievement and contribution of an outstanding member through the Young Professional Broker of the Year Award at regional level and the Warren Tickle Memorial Award at national level. In association with Vero, the award represents the pinnacle of achievement for the nation’s young broker community.
Our Managing Director, Tryan Christos has won the WA NIBA Young Professional Broker of the Year Award for 2020 that recognises the broking industry’s rising stars under the age of 35.
The National Insurance Brokers’ Association (NIBA) is a body that represents the insurance broking profession in Australia, with around 360 member firms and over 2,000 individual brokers.
We would also like to acknowledge the other State finalists on their nominations and congratulate the respective State winners. We wish Tryan and the other State winners the best of luck in being selected for the Warren Tickle Memorial Award at national level which will be announced at the NIBA virtual convention at the end of October 2020.
Since commencing as a casual employee 13 years ago and becoming the 4th generation family member to work within the family insurance business, Tryan has progressed through numerous roles within the business to become the Managing Director. It has been a steady and disciplined journey, through hard work and dedication to get to where he is now. Surprisingly, the journey has only begun as Tryan seeks ways to continuously improve and innovate the business.
Tryan has advised, “It is a great industry and I am proud to be a part of it. Now more than ever and during this pandemic, it is an important time to really support our clients and their businesses and I want to thank and acknowledge our clients for their continued support and loyalty during these tough and challenging times that we face together. Last but not least, this award is not only for me but for the whole team at Interlink.”
