About Michael
Michael commenced in the insurance industry in January 1994, having completed his education at Trinity College, East Perth.
He has over 30 years of experience across many sectors of the General Insurance industry, which includes:
- Specialist Claims Handling – Domestic Home and Contents, Commercial, Industrial Special Risk, Personal and Heavy Motor, Plant and Machinery, and Marine Claims.
- Loss Adjusting.
- Claims Restoration Services.
- Risk & Compliance with Internal Audit Functionality.
- Operational Management.
Michael began his career with RAC Insurance (WA) Pty Ltd before his appointment at the internationally renowned loss-adjusting house, Crawford and Company (Aust).
He furthered his experience by state-managing a national restoration company prior to his first foray into the brokerage domain, where he garnered several years of experience from an operational perspective before moving into the Heavy Motor Vehicle, Plant and Machinery space with insurers National Transport Insurance and Global Transport and Automotive Insurance. There, he assumed the role of their inaugural Claims Team Leader for Western Australia.
After a few years, Michael has now ventured back into the brokerage domain, having joined our team as a Senior Claims Specialist.
